The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Soldiers Table

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a colorful mix of heroes, and a thrilling plot including angels, evil spirits, and malevolent powers increasing in power within the urban setting.

Heads-up: Key plot points for the third episode of Campaign 4 are included.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

The latest chapter concluded with a huge suspense moment and introduced the initial group of characters who will branch out from the central cast to undertake their independent quest, distinct from the remaining groups.

This warrior group consists of Teor Pridesire (played by Travis), Thimble (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), the cleric (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Considering an extensive roster, it was evident from the beginning that keeping everyone at the same party would be impossible.

Hence, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, intertwining the characters’ stories before splitting into three smaller tables: Warriors, Schemers, and Seekers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for players who prefer a traditionally charged fight-heavy gameplay experience where non-violent answers are scarce.

Initially, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander might seem out of place, but the events of episode 3 make it clear why these specific adventurers are best suited for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

First, the party has a clear idea where to head next after a violent first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose demise kicked off the story’s plot—exploited The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, entering the hidden lair, striking Thimble, and swiping all the powerful objects to auction.

The antagonist then paid off his debts and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, north of the city, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each member has a individual motive to exit the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and trusted friend, seeks retribution.
  • The adventurer is familiar with the northern area and advises that it is a nasty environment.
  • The warrior and The healer, having resisted his family’s wishes to eliminate the fighter and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • But, their reputation as key figures in the influential clan could help the team enter locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character swore a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his salvation and will now accompany him wherever.

Wanted and Hunted

Finally, all of them are wanted by the powers that rule Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making lingering locally too risky:

  • The rogue and The character are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and The healer turned against House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
  • The target is marked for death by the family.

This leaves them little choice but to journey toward the remote area in search of the traitor.

What’s Next?

From episode three’s follow-up content, we discover that the warrior group won’t be around next week, leaving the remaining eight cast members to round up the Explorers and Schemers parties.

Viewers can expect learning which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the story’s final introductory chapter, released on the upcoming Thursday.
